Lesson
Anticipatory Set: Read Pattern in Peru by Cindy Neuschwander
Main Lesson: Reinforces guiding principle "All mathematics is based on patterns."  T-Table has already been introduced and students are placed in teams with 4 or less to playing Deal or No Deal.  Open up flowchart an begin by asking the first team member to come an pick a briefcase.  The problem will appear and all teams will have 5 minutes to answer the question using their T-Tables.  Correct answers will give the team a 100 points and wrong answer will give the other teams a chance to answer for 50 points.  If none of the students answer the question correctly go over the problem.  A chance to observe students understanding of standard.  Continue through the game until all 20 briefcases have been chosen.
